Car Seats (any recommendation)

Hello,

What type of car seat do you have for your kids, how do you like it and how would you rate it?

Like to to get opinions for toddler (3 year old) seats and 9 month old.

Thanks,

I've had my twins in the Evenflow Triumph since they outgrew the infant carriers (~8 1/2 months) we love them.

Re: Car Seats (any recommendation)

expensive..but our friend is a California Highway patrol and he inspects car seats. He said he recommends the Britax carseats. He gave us one for our son and he said it is the safest. they have different kinds. They have ones that last longer, like up to 60 lbs vs others for 40lbs..stuff like that. I dont know to much about them...but ive seen them at target and they have a website.

Re: Car Seats (any recommendation)

I have had my two kids (now aged 2 1/2 and 6) in Britax infant, convertible and booster seats since they were born. I have had other seats (Graco, Safety First, Chicco) but always end up going right back to Britax.

Yes, they are a bit more expensive, but I have used my two convertible seats for five years! Just yesterday I had to purchase a Britax booster for my son, who finally outgrew his convertible seat at age 6 1/2.

The best reason to buy this brand is that they are the easiest seat to install correctly, thus increasing the chance of your child being truly safe. It is SO simple to toss these seats from one car to another.

I would strongly suggest stopping by Goore's on Marconi and Fulton. I know they have a reputation for being expensive, but their prices on car seats are very good. Most importantly, they will help you choose what's best for you and have certified car seat installers to ensure your seat is in there properly!
